One of the hidden optional objectives in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is to find Patrick’s giant Sticky Notes that was lost during the cosmic shake. Completing it will give players 1 Gold Doubloon for Bikini Bottom, but where do you even begin looking for these collectibles? Read on, and this guide will show you all the Sticky Note locations in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.
How to Start the Sticky Notes Side Quest?
Unlike other objectives, which require you to talk to other NPCs first, the Sticky Notes objective will begin as soon as you locate the first of nine Sticky Notes hidden across Bikini Bottom. Keep in mind that there are certain regions of the Bikini Bottom map that will not be available from start, and you can only unlock them by progressing through the campaign.
Tips: You may quickly travel to any checkpoint on the map by using the fast travel to checkpoints feature. To do this, open your world map and select on the little clams that represent various areas throughout the map.
Below is a rundown of all the Sticky Note locations scattered throughout Bikini Bottom:
Sticky Note #1
- accessible after completing the Wild West Jellyfish Fields map campaign.
The sticky note is located behind Krusty Krab, next to the water tower. To reach the top, stomp on the red button near the ledge, to the left of the Krusty Krab, and 5 floating platforms leading above will spawn in front of you.
Sticky Note #2
- accessible after completing the Karate Downtown Bikini Bottom map campaign.
This sticky note is located above Sandy’s Treedome. Stomp on the purple button beside the treedome and karate kick the balloons that will lead you up to the top, and then clear the group of Jellies in order to collect the note.
Sticky Note #3
- accessible after completing the Pirate Goo Lagoon map campaign.
Head behind Squidward’s home and use your bubble wand to hit the button and spawn a trampoline. Jump on the trampoline, destroy the skeleton, and climb over to the roof. Once there, hit all the other corresponding bubble buttons to make a path that leads to the note.
Sticky Note #4
- accessible after completing the Pirate Goo Lagoon map campaign.
Use the slingshot in front of SpongeBob’s home to get on top of Chum Bucket. Once there, Stomp on the purple button to spawn platforms and obstacles that will lead you to the sticky note. Keep in mind that you only have 30 seconds to complete the course before it disappears.
Sticky Note #5
- accessible after completing the Halloween Rock Bottom map campaign.
Head over to the three huge lightbulbs behind Squidward’s house, near the green pirate ship, and turn them on. To do this, ground-pound the switches that each blue wire leads to. Once done, a slingshot will appear between the bulbs, and you’ll need to use it to board the ship. Lastly, defeat all the enemies on board in order for the sticky note to spawn.
Sticky Note #6
- accessible after completing the Medieval Sulfur Fields map campaign and saving Mrs. Puff from hanging on top of the roof.
Head over to Mrs. Puff’s boating school and use the trampoline beside her to launch SpongeBob up in the air. Follow the path up ahead, past three Venus flytrap platforms and another trampoline, until you reach the tower’s rooftop. Once there, go near the ledge and glide into the note.
Sticky Note #7
- accessible after completing the Medieval Sulfur Fields map campaign.
Ride the unicorn next to Mr. Crab’s and Pearl’s house and pass through the red archway. This will trigger an obstacle challenge where you have to race through blazing circles within 30 seconds. After successfully passing through the last circle within the time limit, the sticky note will automatically spawn in front of you.
Sticky Note #8
- accessible after learning the Grand Slam ability during the Prehistoric Kelp Forest map campaign.
Head up the hill to the left of the Krusty Krab signage, behind the red button where you got the first note. Once there, grand slam the purple button by the river to initiate the challenge, where you have to bubble surf your way through the entirety of the course. The sticky note will spawn at the end once you complete the challenge within the time limit.
Sticky Note #9:
- accessible after completing the Jelly Glove World map campaign and learn how to use the reefblower.
Locate and equip a Reefblower by the trampoline just behind SpongeBob’s house on the right. Once equipped, suck in the jelly within the area until you’re full, then jump on the nearby trampoline. While in mid-air, fire at the rock totems to reveal a path up. Once on top, head over to the area to your right and defeat all the jelly enemies until the sticky note spawns on the ground.
