THQ Nordic has announced Alone in the Dark delayed to early next year due to a few reasons.
It has been confirmed that Alone in the Dark will be released later on January 16, 2024. Fans will have to wait for a bit more before they can adventure in this new dark world that the developers have created for the fans of the Alone in the Dark series.
The developers revealed the reason for the delay and it was to avoid competing with other popular titles that will be launching in the same month: Alan Wake 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Both titles will be released in October 2023 and if the game would launch together with these two, it would be overshadowed quickly.
As the developers said, “We aim to truly remain as Alone in the Dark as possible.” They also admit that they want to “fully immerse” themselves in the upcoming launches of the two games.
Alone in the Dark now launches on January 16, 2024 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
