Game developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts has revealed a new Stories from the Outlands for popular free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends.
The newest Stories from the Outlands trailer “Ashes to Ash” features the latest Legend to be added to the roster, Ash. The video shows how Dr. Ashleigh Reid, the scientist who betrayed Dr. Mary Somers, died in a firefight of sorts, but her brain got salvaged and got implanted in a body of the simalcrum Ash. Ash is also the one from the Titanfall series and appeared at Apex Legends during Season Five.
It seems Ashleigh is losing the battle against the simalcrum and her personality is getting taken over little by little by the AI. Ash is now done overseeing the games and now ready to win it all and become the Apex Predator.
Aside from Ash, Respawn Entertainment revealed that there will be a new weapon called the C.A.R. SMG. It is described as a flexible weapon and the best gun to use to make a stand as the last Legend standing.
A new Battle Pass has been revealed as well, the Escape Battle Pass with new Apex Packs, XP Boosts, and skins. A new Ranked Season will be available too.
Apex Legends is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
