Embark Studios’ upcoming video game ARC Raiders gets delayed to 2023.
ARC Raiders is a new co-op sci-fi shooter video game and will be free-to-play. Players will have to unite to resist the onslaught of ARC, which is a ruthless mechanized threat that has come from space. This is led by former EA Executive Patrick Söderlund.
In a new statement posted on the game’s official Twitter account, the game will now be released sometime in 2023. No official specific release date was shared, unfortunately.
According to the post, ARC Raiders is an ambitious game and in order to have it released properly, the developers have made the decision to push the release date further to next year. They will now use the extra time to “expand the experience and allow it to reach its fullest potential.”
The developers did promise that they will share more details, but first, they will need to test the game more extensively with players. They will have to make more tests with the team members first.
The team thanked the fans for the support and also posted that they have read all of the comments on the delay announcement. They thanked everyone for the encouragement.
ARC Raiders launches on PC via Steam and Epic Games, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
