Armored Core 6 Money Farming Guide

COAM is the money or the currency used in Armored Core 6. It is mainly used to purchase unlocked parts in the Parts Shop and allows pilots to customize their ACs according to their play style. Learning how to effectively earn COAM fast can significantly help in progressing through the campaign as more powerful parts can just easily be purchased with enough money in the account.

Read ahead as we go through the methods on earning easy money and on unlocking new parts fast in Armored Core 6.

    How to earn COAM?

COAM is earned just by playing through the campaign missions or completing the Arena challenges. Since missions can be replayed indefinitely, you can simply play through the same mission as many times as you need in order to farm money. Just be mindful that not all missions are of equal lengths, and therefore there are missions that can earn you more COAM per minute that you spend completing it. Also, you will also have to consider the repair and ammo costs that get subtracted from the reward which will depend on your performance in the mission.

How to earn Fast Money or COAM in Armored Core 6

The easiest and earliest mission where you can farm COAM from is Mission 05: Destroy the Tester AC. In this mission, you will only need to fight against a single enemy AC, callsign “Tester”, and its base pay is 95,000 COAM. On several of your initial runs, you can earn around 70,000 to 80,000 COAM per 2-minute run, but as you get better parts and get more efficient with the mission, it is possible to get a 90,000 COAM payout in as little as under a minute.

Most of the high-end parts cost around 250,000 to 330,000 a piece to unlock, so if you want to unlock something in particular, all you need to do spend around 4-6 minutes in Mission 5 and you will have enough money for that part.

If you would want to optimize your runs even further, consider getting these weapons that could help in staggering the enemy right away and deal damage in as little time as possible:

    • Vvc-770LB Laser Blade (Mission 8)
    • VP-60LCS Laser Cannon (Mission 7)
    • Vvc-70VPM Plasma Missile Launcher (Mission 7)
    • HG-003 COQUILLETT Handgun (Mission 2)
    • MA-J-200 Ransetsu-RF Burst Rifle (Mission 2)
    • BML-G1/P31DUO-02 Dual Missile Launcher (Mission 2)
    • HI-32: BU-TT/A Pulse Blade (Default)
    • BML-G1/P20MLT-04 Missile Launcher (Default)

If you want to take it up a notch and get a bit more COAM/minute revenue, there are Arena Programs that you can take where you can earn up to 100,000 to 135,000 COAM per run. Some of these programs are accessible only in later chapters or they are usually exclusive to the NG+ and NG++ runs. Be reminded that enemies in these programs are also kitted with high-end parts and have way more highly refined AI which can make farming a challenge.

These are some of the Arena Programs that you can check out:

    • 01/S V-I Freud (100,000 COAM, clear Ch4: Mission 30 to unlock)
    • Y-1 Integration Subject 51-003 K (100,000 COAM, NG+, clear Ch3: Mission 27 to unlock)
    • D-1 Classified Subject 51-101 R (135,000 COAM, NG++, clear Ch2: Mission 14 to unlock)
