Retrieve Combat Logs is a mission in Chapter 1 of Armored Core 6 that asks you to retrieve the titular mission combat logs in a stressful four minutes. There are multiple combat logs that are scattered throughout the area, and you may find yourself out of time before you can find the required amount. Retrieve Combat Logs Locations in Armored Core 6
There are 8 combat logs you can find in the Retrieve Combat Logs mission. You have to locate at least five of them before the four minutes are up. Here’s where you can find each one:
Combat Log 1
At the start of the mission descend down and head to the left. Keep descending until you reach the ground level and under the shadow of a huge broken architecture that is just before mission boundaries. There is a wreckage nearby guarded by an enemy that you can find the combat log in.
Combat Log 2
From the first combat log, go forward and descend down. In between the two large pipe architectures is a wreckage with another combat log.
Combat Log 3
To the left side of the second combat log is another wreckage. The combat log you’re looking for is right there. You’ll encounter Little Ziyi here.
Combat Log 4
Use the jump pad platforms to reach the cliffside back above. To the right is a wreckage with a combat log.
Combat Log 5
To the left side of the cliff is another wreckage with a combat log just across where you found the fourth one.
Combat Log 6
Near the fifth combat log is a big wreckage with a large broken AC. The combat log you’re looking for is there.
Combat Log 7
Turn around and head into the large wall beyond. Keep going until you reach the buildings just before the wall itself. Follow the pathway until your each the top and on the left there is a wreckage with another combat log.
Combat Log 8
Jump down unto the street and you’ll find the wreckage with the last combat log. Pick it up and the mission is complete.
If you’re having a hard time finding the combat log locations, look for the wreckages, which you can usually spot because of the fire and smoke above them. It isn’t important for you to gather all of the combat logs, but you do get a higher rank from doing so. You’ll need to do so not only for The Perfect Mercenary achievement, which requires you to get an S ranking in all of Armored Core 6’s missions,but alsot to get the Combat Log Collector achievement.
Because you’re under a stressful four-minute time limit, you’d best just ignore all the enemies unless absolutely necessary.
