There are new rumors that possibly suggest the new title of the Assassin’s Creed game.
Previously reported as projected codename Rift, this new Assassin’s Creed game will be set in Baghdad and possibly launch next year. Now, the new rumor has finally revealed its possible name: Mirage.
YouTuber j0nathan has now released a new video that detailed the new information on the game. This has also been confirmed by Bloomberg Journalist and Industry Insider Jason Schreier.
The video revealed that AC Mirage will be launching sometime in Spring 2023 and will be set in Baghdad. The year it will be on will be between 870-860. This is the part that Assassin’s Creed fans will love: it is confirmed that this upcoming game will be coming back to the basics of the franchise.
Schreier did point out that the video that the YouTuber provided had some parts that are not true for him like the multiple cities to explore. Since he says that this new rumor is only partly true for him then it should be noted that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
The official big reveal for the possibly Assassin’s Creed Mirage game might be on September 10, 2022, at the Ubisoft Forward Livestream event.
