Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the Steam version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not be getting any Steam Achievements support.
Even after getting released on Steam after two years after its launch, it seems Assassin’s Creed Valhalla still has some “incompatibilities”. Many Steam players have been complaining about Ubisoft games not supporting Steam achievements when they come over to their side of the fence. It seems AC Valhalla will follow suit as well.
One Steam user posted on the community about having Steam Achievements for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. They wanted Ubisoft to fully utilize the features.
Ubisoft quickly responded to the thread to finally make it official for the Steam players. “As there has been a lot of speculation – just to officially confirm. Steam Achievements are not supported for this title.”
The game company also stated that achievements will be available via Ubisoft connect. Ubisoft could only apologize that they could not make it possible.
As a result, the game got mixed feedback on Steam. Others were leaving really bad reviews.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out now on Steam.
