The ASUS ROG Raikiri Pro controller for PC and Xbox platforms is just ridiculously overkill.
CES 2023 showcased various wondrous new technology for the public to see. From transparent TVs to bendable curved monitors, the event has it all. The ASUS showcase revealed various new technology as well and one of the gadgets that stood out was the new ASUS ROG Raikiri Pro, which was the newest PC and Xbox controller coming to the market soon.
Any gamer who would lay their hands on this controller would be in quite for a surprise though with its very “interesting features.”
The new controller will feature tri-mode connectivity, four rear buttons, selectable step triggers, an ESS DAC, and adjustable joytick sensitivity and response curves. And oh yeah, it has an OLED display.
The built-in OLED display is the feature that just tops this all off. It can display customizable animations, view status indicators, and switch profiles via two buttons. Players can switch profiles even if they are in the middle of a game.
Four rear L/R buttons can be programmed as hotkeys for custom or in-game commands. The tri-mode connectivity will allow players to connect via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz RF. They can also opt to use the wired USB-C for the Xbox Series X/S console.
Worried about its frequency interfering with other gadgets? No worries because with the tri-mode connectivity feature, it can easily minimize interference with other devices since it has the adaptive frequency hopping technology.
It has a 3.5 mm jack for audio as the headset connection is only available in wired mode. There is also a mute button for voice chat.
No word yet on pricing, but the Asus ROG Raikiri Pro is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023. This is one beautiful piece of technology, but it will definitely have a price that will cost more than an arm and a leg.
