Objectives:
Talk to Alma at the Entry Hub in the Resistance Headquarters
Head back to the Resistance HQ and meet up with Alma, where you will actually meet her in person and not in her Na’vi body. She comments that you are slowly growing into more of a Na’vi and that the Resistance is now stronger with the Aranahe.
Investigate the sounds outside the Resistance Headquarters
You hear some commotion outside the HQ, so head out to investigate it. As you do, a spear flies at your direction, but hits a wall instead. You are then introduced to Nesim, the olo’eyktan of the Zeswa clan, and she was testing you out after hearing that you managed to convince the Aranahe to join the Resistance.
Ri’nela steps in and talks to Nesim. She tells Nesim that the Sarentu will be sending an envoy over to their home to talk about the alliance. Nesim then tells you how to call the attention of her sister Minang who is at the Celebration Arches.
Before you leave, So’lek suggests that you prepare for the long journey, so take the time to upgrade your gear and clear out any nearby RDA sites.
Go to the Celebration Arches
Make your way to the north of the Resistance HQ to reach the Celebration Arches. It is north of the Stoneblade Ridge, atop Ovation Falls.
As you fly towards the falls, So’lek will tell you that your ikran will not follow you to the Zeswa grasslands until you have learned the way of the land. Hence, you will have to go on land and through a cave system to reach your destination.
You will fly over a large RDA drill site. So’lek warns you not to fly over it as it is one of the most heavily guarded RDA locations in the area.
Find the cave that leads to the Celebration Arches
You’ll find the cliff where you must land to get to the cave. You cannot fly your ikran past this point and so you have to dismount.
Before heading into the cave, you can touch the bellsprig plant nearby to get a permanent health boost.
Climb through the cave to the Celebration Arches
Go inside the cave system and you will see a tarsyu sapling in the first chamber that you reach; touch it to get a skill point.
Continue up the falls and follow the ground that is lined up with luminescent moss, then take the lift vine up the wall.
Shortly after, you will find the cave exit and reach the Upper Plains.
Raise the kite at the Grazing Grounds beneath the Celebration Arches
On the plains, use your sense and head towards the base of the arch on the east to find the signal kite. Interact with it to raise it up to the sky.
Wait for Minang at the Grazing Grounds beneath the Celebration Arches
Minang will then arrive to greet you after seeing the kite. Nesim will also arrive, suggesting that you all should celebrate the fact that the Sarentu still live, but Minang disagrees and wants you to take the time to get used to the air in the plains. She also offers to teach you how to ride a direhorse.
Bond with a direhorse at the Grazing Grounds beneath the Celebration Arches
Look for a direhorse that is grazing nearby and slowly approach it. Once you close enough, soothe it as you continue to approach it. If you approach too quick, they will run away.
Once you’re successful at soothing a direhorse, it will let you bond; however, this bond is only temporary, unlike with your ikran. Once you dismount the direhorse and move away from it, your bond is severed, and you have to soothe another one again. You also cannot call a direhorse to come to your location.
Ride back to Minang, the Zeswa tsahik
Go back to Minang while riding your direhorse. You will be rewarded with Minang’s Ankle Guards and its recipe.
Follow the kites to The Circle, the home of the Zeswa
Ride to The Circle by following the kites across the plains. The ride will be long, but you can still run through the boost plants to give you more speed. After a while of following the kites, you will eventually arrive at The Circle.
Explore The Circle / Investigate the commotion by the Common Space in The Circle
Go to the Common Space of The Circle and follow the voices of cheering Na’vi.
Talk to the cheerful Na’vi
Follow the cheerful voice to talk to Kin. He will tell you a bit about the Zeswa and their relationship with the zakru.
Follow Kin, the master dairy crafter
Kin talks more about the zakru and how they not only get the milk from them that they turn into zangke, he also tells the story of how the first zakru has provided them shelter. He offers a surprise for you, but he will need fresh zakru milk. Kin also tells you to take the time to explore the rest of The Circle to meet the other Zeswa.
Meet the direhorse rider at the Pa’li Grounds in The Circle
Head over to the Pa’li Grounds and talk to the rider named Karmong. She will talk about the direhorse and how important they are in the daily lives of the Zeswa.
Visit The Nursery in The Circle
Go to The Nursery where you will meet Tamu. He talks about the young zakru who sleeps and also shares that they are actually feeding from the ground. Once they wake up, they go find another place to feed and the Zeswa follow them.
Find Akoray at the Dairy Camp in The Circle
Kin tells you that someone is eager to meet you at the Dairy Camp. Talk to Akoray who is tending to the zakru milk. She then gives you some milk and talks about Kin. She also briefly talks about Sosul, Kin’s drinking partner, who has left the clan as the burden carrier and his departure changed Kin.
Meet Kin across the stream north of The Circle
Head north from The Circle and cross the stream to meet up with Kin again. He tells you about the zakru named P’asuk who is named after the berry that they use as body paint. He then lets you paint on P’asuk which wakes up the zakru, signifying that the zakru has considered you as a friend.
The chapter ends with a horn sounding off from the distance telling Kin that the sisters are back and it is time for the celebration of the return of the Sarentu. You will be rewarded with The Wandering Clan Body Paint, some Clan Favor for the Zeswa, plus 4 skill points.
