A new leaked gameplay video of Battlefield 2042 was recently released showcasing aerial battles with a helicopter.
This new video featured a player using a helicopter to dispense mad destruction against his opponents around the map. The map itself looks like an island surrounded by vast waters and also urbanized with roads and lots of buildings. Battles were taking place all over the land, sea, and air.
The video starts with a third person view and the pilot looking around for opponents to defeat. He uses the machine guns to spray bullets on a plane that happened to pass by and then it goes down. The guns’ bullets are infinite, but it seems there is a limit on how long players can fire it due to overheat. There are some missiles to use but it seems to be quite limited.
There are also countermeasures to use against homing missiles in order to avoid a direct hit. Flares are used to misdirect them and make them explode midair.
Air-to-air and air-to-land battles are quite satisfying to watch with so much action. It is looking pretty good for Battlefield 2042 with this new gameplay video. It will be released on October 22, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
