In a recent end of the year interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, it was confirmed by game developer PlatinumGames the status of the development of upcoming video game sequel Bayonetta 3.
According to PlatinumGames Founder Hideki Kamiya, fans have no reason to worry about the silence from them. He assured that the development of part 3 is going well and even the verification of the new systems have been going great.

Kamiya also shared some details of the upcoming mysterious game Project G.G. This was announced way back in February 2020. He revealed that development has now started moving.
Kamiya stated:
Project G.G. is different. Unlike any of the games we’ve made so far, it’s going to be a 100% PlatinumGames title. For everything from its setting and characters, to its game design and story, to how it’s promoted – PlatinumGames is in full control.
