A new report might have just revealed that development in Beyond Good and Evil 2 is not looking good.
Fans of Beyond Good and Evil might not like the new report coming from several sources of media outlet Insider Gaming. It was revealed that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in the “blocking phase” for the most part. There are a few small areas with low-resolution textures according to the report. Basically, it is still in early development. Way early in development, even though it was announced first in 2016.
Insider Gaming has revealed that they have images of the game and they suggest that the game might have been rebooted since the pre-alpha demo walkthrough which was shown in 2018. They reveal that the images and footage only show bare planets with buildings in the shape of blocks. Other structures that have some detail are so low that it feels like the game is set on ultra-low setting. It seems like they are describing a 90s game.
No official statements have been shared by Ubisoft right now.
