Best XRK Stalker Loadout and Class Build in Modern Warfare 3 (Season 1)

When you want to own the battlefield with a sniper rifle, you will need the best XRK Stalker loadout in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1. This all-new sniper rifle is absolutely powerful, making it a great alternative to the SPX-10 sniper rifle. The XRK Stalker’s impressive damage with better range, accuracy, and recoil control makes it the go-to choice for players wanting to dominate the field with a one-shot kill sniper rifle with quick scoping.

Scoring almost the same league as the SPX-10 in terms of offering, the XRK Stalker is also an excellent choice for multiple playstyles. In this guide, I will share the best XRK Stalker loadout in MW3, giving you the best advantage in any map and game mode.

UPDATE 12/12/2023 at 4:56 AM Pacific Time: The ‘No Stock’ can’t be unlocked even after reaching the max level of the XRK Stalker sniper rifle. As of today, there is still no update regarding a fix from the developers. Users on Twitter/X are still reporting that the mod is still locked. This article will be updated once the bug is fixed.

    Best XRK Stalker Loadout

    • Barrel: KLX-09 Short Barrel
    • Rear Grip: XRK Stalker Factory Grip
    • Stock: TAC-840C Stock
    • Optic: SZ SRO-7 or Cronen Zero-P Optic
    • Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt

This loadout focuses on giving you the best mobility and quick-scoping playstyle, which fits perfectly well for the XRK Stalker sniper rifle.

For the best Stalker loadout in MW3, I picked the KLX-09 Short Barrel, XRK Stalker Factory Grip, and TAC-840C Stock (since the ‘No Stock’ mod is still bugged) options since both mods will significantly improve the XRK Stalker’s sprint-to-fire speed, ADS, and sprint speed, giving you better mobility on the battlefield. Some may choose the Handler LKP Short Barrel as a personal preference due to its massive improvement with ADS, but if we look at the enormous debuff, it will severely affect the XRK Stalker’s range by 40%, which will make it less effective in long-range combat. To conclude, choosing the KLX-09 Short Barrel is the best choice over the Handler LKP Short Barrel. Do note that the KLX-09 Short Barrel mod isn’t compatible with muzzle mods.

The SZ SRO-7 optics will give you that mid-range advantage, especially in smaller maps like Rust and the Favela; you can also change the optics to the Cronen Zero-P if you need to zoom into the target a bit. However, if you prefer the default optic, add a Laser mod to improve mobility and ADS.

Lastly, the most essential mod is the XRK Stalker Light Bolt. This will significantly improve the rechambering speed, dramatically enhancing the firing rate by 50% and the rechamber time by 30.6%.

    Best XRK Stalker Class

    Best XRK Stalker Class
    • Vest: Overkill Vest
    • Secondary: Striker (Submachine Gun)
    • Tactical: Stun Grenade
    • Lethal: Proximity Mine
    • Gloves: Marksman Gloves
    • Boots: Stalker Boots
    • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo

To greatly complement the best XRK Stalker loadout, you’ll need a secondary weapon to help you in tricky situations. First, you will need the Overkill Vest to grant you a secondary gun, quick swapping of weapons, and reloading while sprinting, making this vest the best choice over the Gunner Vest and Assassin Vest. Choosing the Gunner Vest will not only improve the reload speed and increase the max ammo, but it will also remove the boots option, which is essential to this build.

For the secondary weapon, I’d go for the Striker submachine gun, as it’s currently the best in its category for its effective capabilities in close and mid-range combat, enabling you to do more aggressive playstyles. Stun Grenades are particularly useful when you rush into small rooms and corners, which is why it’s the best tactical choice, with Proximity Mines helping you avoid getting backstabbed by enemies when you decide to take advantage of the XRK Stalker’s long-range capabilities.

The Marksman Gloves will reduce the sway and flinch while ADS, which significantly stabilizes when aiming down with your scopes. Stalker Boots can greatly help during tight combat scenarios as they will increase strafe and ADS movement. Lastly, the Ghost T/V Camo reduces the chances of getting detected by enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, giving you the advantage when you rush into corners and enemy territory.

How to Unlock XRK Stalker in MW3

How to Unlock XRK Stalker in MW3

The XRK Stalker can be unlocked by completing the A4 sector of the battle pass map. To get to the A4 sector of the battle pass, you must complete the A1 and A2 sectors and have 15 battle pass tokens. Luckily, the XRK Stalker sniper rifle, much like the RAM-7, is a free weapon in the battle pass, and you only need to unlock the sectors and gain tokens by progressing without paying real-life money for it.

That’s everything for the best XRK Stalker loadout in MW3. This guide will be updated when future updates happen for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
