    Known Details

According to previous reports, Call of Duty 2023 will be the continuation of last year’s Modern Warfare 2 and developed by Sledgehammer Games. This new leak confirms that the next game is indeed Modern Warfare 3, which connects the story after the events of MW2.

Activision also confirmed recently that Modern Warfare 2 operators, weapons, and bundles, will carry forward to the next entry of the Call of Duty series. While MW3 has not been officially announced yet, all clues are pointing to MW3 with some of them pretty obvious already.
