Activision has recently released a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer that focuses on the big bad villain of the popular series.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Stars Evil Main Villain

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer was narrated by Captain Price talking about the series antagonist Vladimir Makarov. It also combines live-action footage of Makarov as he gets a new tattoo in the latter part of the video.

    In-Game Footage Featured

Some of the in-game footage shown in the video was a swimming section set under ice, another section set at night in the pouring rain, and a few more. The first one could hint at a new underwater gameplay where players have to set charges that will blow up the ice underneath enemies. The second one was rather ominous as it hints of a possible modern version of “No Russian” of the original game. It showed civilians running away from something, possibly from gunshots.

    The Target is Makarov

The trailer then ends with Price stating that the next target for their team is Makarov. In the original game, he was an Ultranationalist terrorist leader who led a cell and planned for World War 3. In the modern version though, he is seen stealing ballistic missiles from Shadow Company and sold them to Hassan Zyani and Al-Qatala to use against the US.

A full reveal will be happening on August 17, 2023. The game will drop on November 10, 2023.
