Activision has recently released the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies cinematic trailer and it features familiar characters and their current conditions.
The first cinematic trailer for upcoming video game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies features a depressing revelation for fans of the game mode across many titles. The trailer actually reveals who died, is still alive, and has become undead.
The trailer revealed that the one at fault in all of this mess is Victor Zakhaev. He is seen here leading a squad of Operators into a hotel and finds two vials filled with a glowing substance. He and his men steal the vials without knowing what is inside them and dropped one of them after they get overwhelmed by the opposing military police.
When the vial breaks, it creates toxic fumes that suffocate the inhabitants while Zakhaev and his men retreat to their vehicle. Unfortunately, the soldiers got infected and then turned into a violet, undead mutant together with everyone else. Zakhaev does know some secret to this. It seems he has found an item that can be used for mass destruction.
The trailer revealed who are dead like the core members of the CIA-backed faction Requiem like Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskay Strauss, and Mackenzie Carver. These have become undead.
Later in the trailer, various characters from different Call of Duty eras were featured like SSO Kate Laswell, Sergeant Johnny “Soap” Mactavish, Captain Sergei Ravenov, and Chris “Torch” Greene.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
