Infinity Ward has now revealed the official Call of Duty Modern Warfare II release date.

The popular game studio that has developed several Call of Duty titles through the years has now revealed its newest game for the franchise. Just like the leaks, it has been confirmed that the next title will be Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. The number 2 will be written in Roman Numeral instead of a regular one.
According to the studio, CoD MWII will be launch on October 28, 2022. The release date was recently announced on the official Twitter account of Infinity Ward, which has been teasing the reveal for a while now. The new image that was attached together with the release date announced featured one of the popular characters in the Modern Warfare series: Simon “Ghost” Riley.
Task Force 141 Comes Back
Task Force 141 will be making a comeback as well. The whole team will be back with Captain John Price, Simon “Ghost” Riley, Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, and the new Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas.
No official word yet on which platforms it will be available on, but most likely Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will be on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It will be released on October 28, 2022.
