Call of Duty Warzone Mobile – Everything You Need to Know

The time is here, Call of Duty: Warzone has been finally unleashed on mobile devices. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile builds upon the same foundation and uses the exact same technology that powers the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This allowed the developers to make a game that feels and looks like the PC and console version of Call of Duty, but on mobile and battle royale.

Since Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile uses the same technology as its PC and console counterparts, many of its features including friends and chat channels, progression for weapons and account levels, plus the battle pass, are shared across all platforms. Meaning, whether you play Warzone on mobile or on PC and consoles, your progress is shared across platforms including the Battle Pass.

Aside from the 120-player battle royale mode, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile also features multiplayer modes on maps like the ever-popular, close-combat Shipment map,, and the Shoot House. Activision Blizzard also made sure that the handheld experience of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will feature mobile-specific events, playlists, and content including deep control customization options to give Call of Duty veterans and new recruits the best mobile experience there is.

What to Expect in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will feature a 120-player battle royale where players can squad up with their friends an drop into a massive battleground, Verdansk, to fight for survival and become the last man (or squad) standing.

It’s not just Verdansk, Rebirth Island also makes its way to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, delivering the perfect blend of multiplayer and a huge battle royale map that makes engagement more intense.

Here’s a few more details about the Cross-Progression feature between mobile, PC, and consoles:

    • Powered by new unified Call of Duty technology, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is loaded up with many of the same authentic weapons and operators from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone on console and PC, delivering a deeply connected experience.
    • With shared progression players level up their weapons and advance the Battle Pass across Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.
    • Unlock a new weapon when playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or Call of Duty: Warzone on console or PC and it will be available in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile also.  Unlock an Operator in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and take them with you when playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or Call of Duty: Warzone on console or PC too.
    • Friends lists and chat channels are also shared across Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, so players can stay in touch with their friends no matter where they choose to play.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is now available on iOS and Android.
