Call of Duty: WII gets surprise in-game event
Sledgehammer Games and Activision shocked everyone with a new announcement of a brand new in-game event called Operation Liberty Strike. This was to celebrate America’s upcoming birthday.
The event will include the same amount of content as every other event. Players will get rewarded with three new ranged weapons and a new melee weapon called the Push Dagger. The ZK-393 submachine gun allows users to switch between two different fire rates, the AVS-36 is a fully-automatic version of the SVT-40, and the De Lisle sniper rifle that has a built-in suppressor.
Game modes and community challenge
Aside from the Operation Liberty Strike event, players will also get to see the return of the One Shot and Hardcore Ricochet game modes. A new community challenge is also available and if they succeed, they will get two exclusive variants of the M1 Garand and the M1911 with some calling cards and emblems.
