Konami has announced that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will launch on October 15, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam. The announcement was made during the Xbox Games Showcase, where the publisher also debuted a new trailer and opened pre-orders for the upcoming side-scrolling action adventure.
The latest trailer offers a closer look at protagonist Rose Belmont, daughter of legendary vampire hunter Trevor Belmont, as she battles her way through the streets and catacombs of Paris before venturing into Dracula’s castle. The footage showcases the game’s exploration-focused gameplay, gothic environments, and several new enemies and bosses.
Set in 1499 Paris, 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Belmont’s Curse follows Rose as she confronts monsters using a variety of weapons, abilities, and the iconic Vampire Killer whip. The game is being developed by Konami in collaboration with Evil Empire, with advisory support from Motion Twin.
The newly released trailer also highlights original artwork created by acclaimed manga artist Katsuya Terada, whose illustrations help bring the game’s dark fantasy world to life.
Players who pre-order or purchase the game early will receive the Alucard Style Costume as a bonus cosmetic item.
Konami also revealed the Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Midnight Edition, which includes the base game alongside a Digital Sound & Art Gallery featuring 71 music tracks from the game.
