Remedy Entertainment showcased a new gameplay trailer for CONTROL Resonant during the PC Gaming Show, offering a fresh look at the highly anticipated sequel ahead of its launch on September 24, 2026.
The new “Take CONTROL” trailer highlights the game’s paranaturally transformed version of Manhattan, showcasing several new locations, fast-paced combat encounters, supernatural abilities, and the otherworldly threats that players will face throughout the adventure.
Alongside the trailer, Remedy released a new developer mini-documentary featuring Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen, Art Director Elmeri Raitanen, and Lead Level Designer Anne-Marie Grönroos. The team discussed how CONTROL Resonant expands beyond the confines of the Oldest House, introducing larger environments, gravity-defying traversal, and a blend of melee combat, supernatural powers, and reactive world systems.
Remedy also confirmed that CONTROL Resonant will launch with support for the latest NVIDIA RTX technologies, including DLSS 4.5, path-traced rendering, RTX Mega Geometry, Ray Reconstruction, and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. The studio says these technologies are designed to deliver improved image quality and visual immersion on supported hardware.
In addition, CONTROL Resonant will be Remedy’s most localized game to date, featuring full audio, interface, and subtitle support across multiple languages, with additional subtitle and interface options planned for several other regions.
Pre-orders are now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players who pre-order the game will receive the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact and the Hiss Corruption Outfit for Dylan.
The Standard Edition includes the base game and is priced at $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99 and includes additional cosmetics, an exclusive artifact, a starter resource bundle, a digital artbook, and the original soundtrack.
CONTROL Resonant launches on September 24, 2026 for PC, with support for GeForce NOW available at launch. Remedy also confirmed that a Mac version will arrive later this year.
