Petrified Giant II is one of the mine quests in Coral Island. After freeing the Earth Giant, the next task is to go deep into the next mine to free the Water Giant. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Petrified Giant II quest in Coral Island.

How to unlock the Petrified Giant II quest

The Petrified Giant II quest becomes available after completing the Petrified Giant I quest.

    Petrified Giant II Objectives

Water Mine - Coral Island Petrified Giant II Quest Walkthrough

Similar to the previous quest, you will need to descend into the deepest part of the Water Mine, where the Water Guardian seal has been kept. There are a total of 40 levels in the mine, with floors that have bonuses on every 5th and 10th floor.

You can find chests on these floors with the following rewards:

    • 10th: x8 Candied Tree Seed
    • 20th: Amber Shield Ring
    • 30th: x10 Explosive II
    • 40th: x6 Jamu

The rocks in the Water Mine are usually broken after 2-3 hits from the Basic Pickaxe, so it’s recommended to upgrade to the Bronze Pickaxe to make some of the rocks easier to break. Most of the ores that you will get from this mine are Silver Ores.

After reaching the final floor, approach the seal, and it will break. The chieftain will then come and tell you to meet back up at the entrance. You’ll then meet Gong, who is the Water Giant freed from being petrified. The quest will be completed, and the Wind Mine will be opened for the next quest.
