Cris Tales Gameplay Video Showcases Reactive World and Meaningful Choices

Game publisher Modus Games recently released a new in-depth video of upcoming JRPG Cris Tales.

    Cris Tales

The game developed by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK will be launching on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021 for only $39.99. The physical copies of the game will have an amazing bonus game art poster that features the key art of the title.

The new gameplay video focuses more on Crisbell’s ability to observe and manipulate past and future visions of her surrounds at any time. With her power, she can use it to shape a brighter future and can change both the lives of those who surround her and the world. She is assisted by her amphibian ally for this.

The video also showcases the Synchro system in combat. This allows team members to combine their skills for powerful attacks.

Cris Tales is a JRPG where players can fight and explore across the past, present, and future simultaneously. Strategic use of these eras grants massive in-battle advantages, and the effects of decisions make ripples across a striking, hand-drawn 2D world, giving players true agency over their story and the ending they earn. Eager adventurers can preorder Cris Tales now, and all physical copies of the game will include a bonus poster. They can also try their hand at multi-era battling via a free demo available on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, and GOG.
