Bloober Team, the acclaimed Polish development studio, has announced that its new horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn, will officially launch worldwide on September 5, 2025. In a surprise reveal during a recent Nintendo Direct, the game was also confirmed to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement was accompanied by a new story trailer that introduces a key narrative element: Soul Harvesting. The trailer offered a look at the characters players will encounter and set a chilling tone for the game with the line, “The human race – an anomaly, yet the perfect one…”
With the launch date confirmed, Bloober Team has detailed the digital and physical pre-order options, which are now live across all platforms.
Cronos The New Dawn Pre-order Editions
Players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S can choose between two digital editions:
- Standard Edition ($59.99 USD)
- Deluxe Edition ($69.99 USD) which includes 48-hour early access, allowing players to begin on September 3.
For Nintendo Switch 2, only the digital Standard Edition ($59.99 USD) is available for pre-order.
Additionally, a physical edition for PS5 is being produced in partnership with Skybound Games. This edition is available for pre-order at select retailers, including GameStop and Amazon. The physical version includes a unique Traveler skin, a cache of valuable digital supplies, and a set of collectible physical stickers.
Cronos: The New Dawn will launch on PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 next month on September 5, 2025.
