This next-gen update just dropped today for Crysis Remastered on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Each next-gen platform has been given options for players to choose from — quality to performance modes.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions support “up to” 60 frames per second (FPS). This can mean it may not be a locked stable 60 FPS as it may dip depending on what happens in the screen.
However, this new update notes that the Xbox Series X runs at native 2160p (4K) resolution at 60 FPS in Quality Mode, while the PS5 version can only get up to 1800p 60 FPS. This is another game where the Microsoft console excels in terms of raw power.
Based on the official Reddit post(s) (PS5 / Xbox Series X|S):
XBOX SERIES X
- Performance mode – 1080p – 60 fps
- Quality mode – 2160p – 60 fps
- RayTracing – 1440p – 60 fps
XBOX SERIES S
- Performance mode – 1080p – 60 fps
- Quality mode – 2160p – 30 fps
