Game studio CD Projekt RED revealed the Tools of Destruction trailer for episode 2 of the Night City Livestream for upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077.
The Tools of Destruction trailer focused more on the types of weapons that can be used in the game. There are different kinds of weapons namely melee, ranged, and cyberware. The trailer focused more on the ranged variety, which also has three types: Power, Tech, and Smart Weapons.
The Power Weapons can easily destroy enemies and function similarly to ordinary guns that we have in reality like rifles and shotguns. Tech Weapons use electromagnetic power to fire metal projectiles at super-high speed like a railgun and can go through certain covers. The Smart Weapons can track enemies in real-time and can hit enemies behind cover or running away.
These weapons can be improved as well and have rarities. The higher the rarity, the better the advantages it can give to a player. It can also be modded like attaching scopes and silencers to gain more advantage against opponents.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on Nov. 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions will be available sometime in the holiday season.
