Danganronpa 2 was first released in 2012. It was considered one of the best games of its time, and now fans of the series will get to play it on a larger screen as Nintendo Direct revealed a new remake for it called Danganronpa 2×2.
This remake is based on Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and will feature not only the original story content with new animation and cutscenes, but also a new story. This new story will have a completely different chain of events with different victims, culprits, and unexpected tricks after a particular event.
Danganronpa 2×2 will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam in 2026.
