    Dead Island 2: Missing Shane Lost & Found Quest Guide

    Missing: Shane is one of the various Lost & Found quests in Dead Island 2. Shane has been working as one of the lifeguards in Venice Beach, but he has gone missing for days without any updates.

    Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Missing: Shane Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2.

    How to start the Missing: Shane Lost & Found quest?

    Go to Serling Hotel where you can grab the Missing: Shane Lost & Found quest by the wall of missing people. This quest will appear once the main story campaign has been completed and the missing people board has an available slot for the quest.

    Step 1: Go to the south lifeguard hut - Dead Island 2 Missing Shane Lost & Found Quest walkthrough

    Step 1: Go to the south lifeguard hut

    Head to Venice Beach and go to the southernmost lifeguard hut. Disable the electrified puddle then go inside the hut to pick up the Offer of a Lifetime Journal.

    Step 2: Go to Hut 18

    Make your way to Hut 18 which is just northwest from you are. Along the way, you will see a boat wreckage by the water where you will find the Terrors of the Deep journal. There will be a lot of zombies in the area, including one named Nell. Eliminate all of the zombies and then rummage through Nell’s body to find the From Whom the Nell Tolls Journal.

    Step 3: Go to the Lifeguard HQ - Dead Island 2 Missing Shane Lost & Found Quest walkthrough

    Step 3: Go to the Lifeguard HQ

    Fast Travel to The Pier and into the Lifeguard HQ. Within the HQ are a bunch more zombies; eliminate them or sneak through them. Make your way to the garage area of the HQ where you will find TJ the Lifeguard. Kill TJ and rummage through his body to find the Barbara or Bust Journal. This will complete the quest and reward you with 2,000 XP.
