EA Motive has recently revealed that they are interested in exploring the Dead Space franchise more.
Dead Space Franchise Planned to be Explored More
Senior Producer Phil Ducharme and Creative Director Roman Campos-Oriola were recently interviewed by GQ Magazine about the recently launched video game Dead Space Remake. They were asked what their plans were for the franchise in the future, Ducharme shared his statement.
“There’s interest on my side and I think on Roman’s side – you can see his smile – in exploring Dead Space more,” he revealed.
Possibilities of More Remakes
This is quite a big hint that the remake of the original Dead Space franchise is not ending with the original first game. Players who have already completed the game and the New Game Plus would also know that the ending for that one also hinted that there would be a Dead Space 2 Remake in the future. If that actually happens, Dead Space 3 will be a possibility and the hope for an overhaul to its story and gameplay will not be a dream anymore.
Dead Space 3 – The Bad Egg
For players who do not know about the Dead Space 3 controversy, the third part of the mainline series has been highly criticized by fans due to its storytelling of adding a new character, and the addition of the coop feature, which greatly became a problem. Many fans did not like the idea, which is the reason why Dead Space 2 is considered the pinnacle of the whole series instead of the third entry.
Dead Space Remake is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
