Dead Space Remake Console Performance Options Unveiled

Motive Studio has recently revealed the Dead Space Remake console performance options.

Dead Space Remake Console Performance Options Detailed

The developers have officially revealed the two Dead Space Remake console performance options that will be available for console players when Dead Space Remake launches later this month. These options to choose from are Quality and Performance options, which offer two different settings for consoles.

Looking for #DeadSpace specs? We’ve got you covered. Console players have the option to choose between 2 graphics modes:

    👉 Quality: 30fps at 4K (UHD) resolution with ray-tracing.
    👉 Performance: 60fps with 2K (QHD) with no ray-tracing.

Console players who will opt for the Quality Graphic Mode will get 30fps at 4K (UHD) resolution with ray-tracing, according to a recent Twitter post on the official Dead Space account. The UHD stands for Ultra High Definition, officially just a display of 1920 by 1080 quadrupled to 3840 by 2160. It is not truly 4K but it is close to that.

Performance Graphic Mode however offers 60fps with 2K (QHD) with no ray-tracing technology. The visuals are still top-notch but it will be half of the UHD resolution, which will be 2K only. The frame rate will be up to 60fps, which is quite promising for fans who like faster speeds and do not mind high-end visuals. This would be best for this game as players might need the quick reaction time speed when fighting Necromorphs that pop out of nowhere.

Dead Space Remake PC System Requirements

Aside from the console performance options, Motive Studio was kind enough to share the minimum and recommended PC specifications for the game. Interestingly enough, these are quite forgiving compared to other upcoming titles that need bigger storage spaces and ultra-high-spec hardware.

    MINIMUM PC SPECS
    OS: Windows 10 64-bit+
    Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x, Core i5 8600
Graphics: AMD RX 5700, GTX 1070
    Memory: 16 GB RAM
    Direct X: Version 12
    Storage: 50 GB available space
