Developer FLEXUS has announced that its upcoming comedic co-op game, Dear Passengers, has hit a tremendous milestone in its development. The game has reached 700,000 Wishlists just within 36 hours of its announcement. The developers then posted the milestone on their Steam page, thanking everyone who shared the game, made memes, and even got into arguments over it.
Dear Passengers is set to release on PC (via Steam) sometime in the second half of this year; the developers have yet to confirm a release window. The hit game is already drawing comparisons to other friendslop favorites such as Peak and R.E.P.O.
Dear Passengers Key Features:
- Online co-op with friends
- Pilot the plane or work inside the cabin
- Physics-based passengers, cargo, and cabin chaos
- Dynamic weather, turbulence, and air pockets
- Risky passengers and high-paying cargo
Dear Passengers is a comedic physics-based co-op game where you and your friends are crew members in what many people call “The World’s Worst Airline”. Scramble to keep your plane in one piece as everything in the unfriendly skies wants you grounded. Passenger safety is a distant second on your list of priorities, alongside the questionable cargo in the back. All that matters is making it to the destination, no matter the cost.
In this game, one player takes control of the pilot seat while the rest of the crew does everything from serving in-flight meals to repairing the fuselage. While on the ground, players choose how many passengers get seated ahead of the illegal cargo in the back. Do keep in mind that the riskier the cargo is, the bigger the payout is going to be – provided you make it to the destination in the first place.
Dear Passengers is set to release in the second half of 2026.
