Delay For Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 1 Won’t Affect Part 2

final fantasy vii remake

The remake for Final Fantasy VII was delayed for more than a month forward into the year 2020. What was originally supposed to release next week in March 3rd was rescheduled and pushed into April 10th. The reason for this was due to polishing from Square Enix. Since the Final Fantasy VII Remake is a timed PlayStation 4 exclusive, Xbox and PC users were also affected by this delay by the time the exclusive lifts in 2021.

For those who haven’t heard, this remake will be a massive game with multiple parts. This April 10 only holds the first part of the game. And that already has more than 100GB for the PlayStation 4’s storage. We have yet to hear how large Part 2 will be. Which brings us to the question in mind, will the Part 1 delay affect the release of Part 2? Square Enix’s president confirms that no, it won’t.

As of now, we have yet to see if development for the second part won’t come across any problems. Right now, Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 is still under development. Stay tuned with us to receive more news regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII is coming to us this April 10th for the PlayStation 4.
