Game company Microsoft has announced the expansion of its Designed for Xbox mobile gaming accessories to iOS devices.
Xbox Cloud Gaming just got announced that it will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on Windows 10 PCs and Apple phones and tables via web browsers. To improve that further, more accessories are being added.
Backbone mobile controller is now available on the Designed for Xbox family with the Backbone One for Xbox. It is compatible with all iPhone models with iOS 13 or later. Players only need to connect the controller with the phone, press the Backbone Button to open the app, and just start playing.
Backbone One allows players to capture gameplay with just the Capture Button for easy access. The app now supports tagging gameplay from Xbox Cloud Gaming and sharing those favorite gaming moments with just a link.
Buying the Backbone One for Xbox will include 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It is now available for purchase for only $99 USD in select Microsoft Store markets.
Razer is now offering the new Razer Kishi Universal Gaming Controller for iOS. It fits most iPhone devices and is designed to bring console-level control to mobile gaming. It also offers a free 3 month trial to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new members. It is now available for pre-order for only $99 USD from Razer and other select retailers worldwide.
The OtterBox Power Swap Controller Batteries will keep Xbox Wireless Controllers charged and ready for gameplay. It has quick-release batteries that can be swapped on-the-fly with one hand during gameplay. There are backlit LEDs that will let players know when the battery is low. The dock charges both batteries simultaneously and keeps the backup battery fully charged until needed. It is now available for purchase for only $59.95 USD from Microsoft Store and select markets worldwide.
