After the launch of the new expansion Destiny 2 Lightfall, the game has now broken a new record on Steam.
The Lightfall expansion launch was a success and many players enjoyed its release due to the numerous new content they get to try out. A new class, new locations, new enemies, and many more. It has now set new records on various platforms and on Steam, it has broken one.
According to the SteamDB website, it was revealed that the hype of Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion’s launch had broken a new record. The game had now reached 316,750 concurrent players on that day alone, which is the highest number ever registered by the game on Steam. Before the launch, the most recent number of concurrent players was only 128,692 and the highest-ever number was 292,513 way back in October 2019 when Shadowkeep got released.
This new record shows how the fans and new players were interested in the new expansion.
Destiny 2 Lightfall is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
