Destiny 2 Season 21 “Season of the Deep” has now begun and it takes back the Guardians to a beloved location, Titan. Beneath the waves, players will be fighting against a new type of threat, gathering new equipment and weapons, and unlocking new Exotics. One of the new contents coming is a new Dungeon Activity.

Here are the details on the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon release date, rewards, and power level.

What is the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon Release Date?

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep has a new Dungeon activity to enjoy called “Ghosts of the Deep”, but players might have to wait for a while. It has been confirmed ahead that the new Dungeon activity will launch the same week as the main season, which is on May 26, 2023 at 10 AM PT.

Update: Here’s the new trailer for Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon “Ghosts of the Deep”.

How To Get Instant Access to Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon “Ghosts of the Deep”?

Players can get instant access to the new dungeon by purchasing the Lightfall Dungeon Key for 2,000 Silver or the Lightfall + Annual Pass edition which includes an entire year of Destiny 2 content.

What are the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon Rewards?

Currently, there are no official details of the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon rewards, but there have been leaks revealing them. According to a leaker, the Dungeon Exotics that will be part of the rewards for completing it will be four types of Dungeon Weapons. These are:

    • Stasis Wave Frame Breech Grenade Launcher
    • Solar Rapid-Fire Glaive
    • Solar Aggressive Submachine Gun
    • Stasis Aggressive Rocket Launcher
    Credits to: TeeGlizzy

These weapons will have an origin trait called Restoration Ritual. Reviving allies or killing enemies with finishers reloads this weapon and readies an emergency reload for the next time this weapon runs out of ammo.

Update: Other treasures that can be attained in the dungeon are a new armor set and new Strand Exotic Trace Rifle. The new Title, Ghoul, is also available to be unlocked by players looking for the master Ghosts of the Deep. Completing it before August 22, 2023 will allow players to purchase the Dungeon Pin and HOodie, available at the Bungie Store via Bungie Rewards.

What is the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Dungeon Power Level Requirement?

The exact Power Level requirement for the upcoming new Dungeon is still unknown, but we can speculate. Bungie has already confirmed that Destiny 2 Season of the Deep will not increase the Power Cap, so the Power Level requirement for the Dungeon will more or less be 1800. This will provide players with new Pinnacle rewards and a new path to max Power.

Update: Here are the official Power Level Requirements:

    • Legend: 1790
    • Master: 1840

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
