Destiny 2 Weekly Reset May 9 2023 – Second Week of Guardian Games 2023

This is our Destiny 2 Weekly reset article for the week of May 9th, 2023. And we’re back with the Weekly Resets once more. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks but we’ve managed to get back on track with Destiny 2.

Guardian Games continues! Last weekend, we’ve been told that Titans won the first week of Guardians. A round of congratulations is in order. Will the other class have a hope and a chance to take the second week? We shall see. These Arc Titans won’t be letting up anytime soon.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Time

As always, the Destiny 2 weekly reset times are 10 AM PDT for the folks on the West Coast of the US. 6 AM BST for our readers in Britain. And 2 AM JST the following day for everyone in Japan.

Destiny 2 Weekly Activities May 09 – May 15 2023 Overview

This week we will have a new Guardian Games Competitive Playlist to look forward to. But other than that, we should be getting ready for Season 21 Season of the Deep. So take this time to tie up any and all loose ends cause you never know when Bungie bring anything back once vaulted.

It’s also during this week that we’ll see bonuses to all Nightfall missions. And it is very likely that the Guardian Games’ Competitive Playlist will also benefit from the bonuses.

Where is Xur? May 12 2023

It’s that time of the week again when everyone in the Destiny 2 community asks the question – Where is Xur?

This weekend Xur can be found on the cliff overlooking the Winding Cover in the EDZ. Just head North of the fast-travel spot and look for the cave that’s directly under his airship.

Destiny 2 Nightfall This Week May 09 – May 15 2023

This week’s featured Nightfall sees us going to Europa and defeating Belmon in the Glassway Nightfall. This is still one of the more difficult Nightfalls, especially in Grandmaster. That final boss really does a number to your fireteam if you let have its way during the battle.

Guardians have a chance to get a god roll Buzzard Adept sidearm with enough runs of Grandmaster Nightfalls and a visit to Commander Zavala at the Tower.

Destiny 2 Crucible Featured Game Mode May 09 2023

This week we have Zone Control coming to the Crucible. We don’t need kills or capture point bonuses for this game mode. Guardians hold capture points and the points will be added to your team score at a set time interval for as long as your team holds the location.

Destiny 2 Featured Raid and Dungeon May 09 – May 15 2023

Guardians have a chance to farm the Vow of the Disciple Raid this week seeing as it is this week’s featured raid. And even if it wasn’t, fighting Rhulk is one of the best sequences Bungie has created in a very long time.

This week’s featured dungeon is Prophecy. The Nine have but one question to the Guardians who enter their realm: “What is the nature of darkness”?

And as usual, completing these featured content will reward you with pinnacle gear.

Vow of the Disciple Raid Challenges

• Swift Destruction – Done during the Acquisition encounter, it asks the players to kill all Champions at the same time (within a few seconds from each other), on all rounds.
• Base Information – Done during the Caretaker encounter, it requires the players to only pick up one(1) stack of Knowledge (Glyph) per run.
• Defenses Down – Done during the Upended encounter, each player can’t kill more than one Taken Knight in total.
• Looping Catalyst – Done during the Rhulk encounter, do not lose Leeching Force before the damage phase.
