Diablo 3 Gets Final New Content as Send-Off

Blizzard has recently revealed that Diablo 3 will be getting its final new content as send-off for its last season.

After 11 years since its launch, Diablo 3 is finally ending with Season 29 and to celebrate, Blizzard is going out with a bang. Players will be treated with a most-awaited mode: Solo Self Found mode. This is a mode that fans had called on Blizzard to add to the game for many years now.

In Solo Self Found mode, players will be able to play truly solo in a single-player experience. No trades with others, no experience bonuses from being in a party, and no friends to help. This will come with its own leaderboard and a Hardcore version.

“We decided to bring Solo Self Found to Diablo 3 after years of players requesting an officially supported single player mode,” the developers wrote on a post on the website. “This mode will temper you.”

Aside from Solo Self Found Mode, Season 29 will include other new content too like the new Visions of Enmity, new monster affixes, an increase in Paragon ceiling to 800 paragon Points, new quality-of-life updates, sweeping balance changes, and bug fixes.

These changes will be coming to Diablo 3 from August 15 to 29, 2023 as part of the Diablo 3 Patch 2.7.6 Public Test Realm. This will be the last Season to include new content while from Season 30 onwards will revisit old seasons as the team moves on to work on Diablo 4.

Diablo 3 is out now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
