With ability to summon the dead, cast debuffs, and be an overall menace, the flexibility to make any Necromancer build in Diablo 4 far exceeds other classes. This undead raising mage is disgustingly good at their jobs with little to no drawbacks on their abilities. Here’s how you can make the best Necromancer build for Diablo 4.
Best Necromancer Build in Diablo 4
The Diablo 4 beta only allows you to get to level 25 so our skill points are very limited. Despite that, it’s possible to create an incredibly powerful Necromancer by combining the most useful skills togther. Here is the best Druid build in Diablo 4:
- Reap: 1
- Enhanced Reap: 1
- Blood Surge: 2
- Enhanced Blood Surge: 1
- Supernatural Blood Surge: 1
- Corpse Explosion: 4
- Enhanced Corpse Explosion: 1
- Blighted Corpse Explosion: 1
- Skeletal Warrior Mastery: 3
- Death’s Embrace: 2
- Decrepify: 2
- Corpse Tendrils: 3
- Enhanced Corpse Tendrils: 1
- Army of the Dead: 1
The Diablo 4 Open beta only gives you 24 ability points to play around with. This makes our choice of which abilities to invest in rather limited for the time being. But we can still make an utterly broken Necromancer build despite that.
The Necromancer class is arguably the most powerful of the five classes in Diablo 4 that we’ve played so far. It comes with a free Raise Skeleton skill that summons up to four skeletal companions to fight enemies for you at zero drawbacks and no time limits. You can even heal them at almost any time! All you have to do is use the skill on the corpse which automatically gives any Necromancer build an edge over the others.
To start with, level up your Skill Tree until you get to the Corpse Explosion which is where the fun really starts. With the right modifiers, you can be doing AoE damage and debuffs to the point that everywhere you walk is utterly chaotic in your favor.
Invest some points into the Skeletal Warrior Mastery which greatly benefits your Raise Skeleton ability. This will buff your skeletal allies to deal more damage and have more life. You’re practically a one-man party.
Other skills like Decrepify and Corpse Tendrils are pretty complimentary to debuffing enemies. Your Reap basic skill is good for reducing incoming damage but you can switch it with Bone Splinters if you’d like. You don’t even need to invest in an Ultimate ability but we have an extra point so we figure we might as well have fun with Army of the Dead.
You can refund your skill points at any time so don’t be afraid to play around with this Necromancer build. Out of all the classes, the Necromancer has got to be the most flexible offering you a variety of combinations that make you increasingly deadly. In the end, we really found that relying on your Raise Skeleton and complimenting it AoE damage and debuffs are the best choices.
That’s the Diablo 4 Best Necromancer for the Open beta. We’ll update this article as soon as the level 25 cap has passed in the full game coming out this June 6, 2023.
