Secret of the Spring is one of the side quests that players can take on in Diablo 4. In this quest, players find a note with a cryptic message that leads them to a spring. This spring is supposed to provide some treasure for those who are not only patient enough, but also for those who are crafty enough.

Where to find the Secret of the Spring side quest
The Secret of the Spring side quest can be started from the Kylsik Plateau, just north of Kyovashad. You will see a discarded note near a platform and interacting with it will start the quest.
How to complete the Secret of the Spring side quest
As you read the note, you will see a message that says “Beacon of warmth in winter’s embrace, patience rewarded by nature’s own grace.”
Then, a quest marker will appear that points to the next area. Simply follow the path up north and you will arrive at a spring in Trough of Orobas. Eliminate all of the enemies around the spring first to make the area safe.
Finally, to complete this quest, all you need to do is to do the Wait emote near the spring and a buried chest should appear nearby. If you do not have the Wait emote, you can open the action wheel by pressing the E key on the keyboard or the Up button on the D-pad, then choose the Customize option, select the Wait emote and assign it to one of the wheel slots.
Inside the chest, you will find some rawhides, some gold and XP for completing the quest, as well as some renown for the region.
