Since the reveal in BlizzConline earlier this year, Diablo II: Resurrected is moving to its alpha test stage, and players can sign-up to get invited to test the remaster of what was once the greatest RPG of its time.
Diablo II: Resurrected’s alpha test will include the first two full acts in single-player mode. Players can navigate perilous areas of eastern Khanduras, from the Rogue Encampment to the Monastery, and then head East to walk the sands of sunlit Lut Gholein.
In addition, players can test out 3 of the beloved characters – the Barbarian, Amazon, and the Sorceress. There will also be no level cap, so you may level up your characters to the max levels, upgrading all skills and abilities. However, the progress will not be carried over to the launch build.
When will the Technical Alpha start and which platform?
Diablo II: Resurrected Technical Alpha will be running from 10:00AM Pacific Time (PT) on April 8 (Early Access) through 10:00AM PT on April 12.
The Technical Alpha will only be on PC.
Does the game require an “always-online” connection?
To ensure security of the Technical Alpha, a constant online connection will be required during play. (A constant Internet connection will not be required for the final version of the game.)
Will those who will sign-up for the technical alpha get an invite?
Technical Alpha will be available in most regions to a limited number of participants. You may register or opt-in for the technical alpha test here: Diablo2.com
Diablo II: Resurrected is expected to launch later this year.
