Digimon Survive Gets Delayed Further to Q3 2022

Bandai Namco Entertainment has also confirmed it.

Japanese animation studio Toei Animation has recently shared its financial report and has mentioned that much anticipated video game Digimon Survive has been delayed.

According to media outlet Gamer Braves, the translated financial report revealed that the upcoming RPG game based on the popular Japanese anime series Digimon has been delayed further to Q3 2022. This is estimated to be between July 1 until September 30, 2022.

Gamer Braves reached out to game company Bandai Namco Entertainment and has officially confirmed the delay to Q3 2022.

Digimon Survive was supposed to be released way back in 2019, but it got delayed to 2021. Now in Q3 2022, which is way longer than expected.

What is Digimon Survive?

Digimon Survive is the next entry to the Digimon game franchise. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory gotten quite the success previously, it was deemed by fans that this upcoming SRPG would be better. Some reports say that this title will be quite darker than previous titles and will have mature themes. It will have a new group of teenagers who are transported to the world of Digimon.
