Some players of Disney Dreamlight Valley have noticed an interesting option to enter Redemption Codes in the game’s settings menu; one of them actually unlocks a weird and mysterious item.
According to these players, one of the redemption codes unlocks the weirdest item to grace the game: a mysterious golden potato. Before, this option was not available and no known codes were revealed. Many have assumed that it was going to be available in the full release of the game. This has now changed when a scavenger hunt on the game’s official Discord group uncovered this mysterious option and the very first redemption code.
The Mysterious Golden Potato redeeming code is now available but it is unknown if it will be there permanently or for a limited time only. It is best to redeem this code right away before it expires. There could be more in the future because this is only the first one.
To redeem the code, first, go the pause menu, go to the settings, scroll down to the help tab, and then select the empty text box for Redemption Codes. Put this in the text box: GPOT-OATO-LDFS-ENNM. Claim it right away afterward. There have been reports that it would glitch so if it happens, just press claim repetitively until it lets you claim it.
Here’s what say son the mail that contains the item, “You stumble upon a Golden item. It looks weirdly like a potato. Who knows what secrets it holds?!” The item’s description says, “A shiny potato that should probably not be eaten…” It is marked as a quest item so it could be used on a future quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.,
