How to Unlock Disney Speedstorm Characters
Disney Speedstorm characters in general can be unlocked with Shards. Every character has their own unique racer shard, which initially needs 10 in order to unlock and upgrade that specific character

Starter Circuit Rewards

Golden Pass Tier Rewards
This serves as the battle pass for the game, and it may be upgraded to avail the rewards on the Premium Pass, which includes shards. You can spend your coins for Shards at the shop. There are limited packs and boxes tied to various Disney titles, which are definitely worth checking out. Increasing your Golden Pass level is a way to gain coins too, which you can then spend in the shop if there’s anything worth buying at the moment. There’s a Free Box to collect daily as well.
Time Limited Events
You can simply earn shards and other rewards by completing objectives during timed events of the a featured racer.
Season Tours
Season tours are manageable events that take place across multiple chapters and award shards, including other various rewards. As you move through the chapters, you’ll win shards that correspond to the racer you’re playing as.
