Dragon’s Dogma 2: To the Victor Go the Spoils Trophy Guide

To the Victor Go the Spoils is a trophy in Dragon’s Dogma 2 which are given to players who manage to retrieve a stolen item from them. Read ahead to learn the steps on how to obtain the To the Victor Go the Spoils Trophy in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to unlock the To the Victor Go the Spoils trophy

In order to unlock the To the Victor Go the Spoils trophy, you will need to let a scavenger enemy steal something from you, then kill the scavenger to be able to retrieve the item back.

Scavengers often attack you when your back is turned towards them like when you are busy fighting another enemy. Once they find the chance, they will jump on you and tackle you to the ground, after which an item of yours will be stolen. Once this happens, you will need to chase down the scavenger and kill it as soon as possible before it makes its escape.

    Scavenger location (mapgenie.io)

The easiest locations to reach where scavengers can be found is on the path just east of the north entrance of Checkpoint Rest Town. Follow the river to the east and then continue moving down east on the path and you will eventually encounter a group of bandits with a scavenger among them. Concentrate on the bandits first while trying to intentionally turn your back towards the scavenger (enemies with hoods and capes) and then wait for it to strike.

Once the scavenger has been killed, you will actually immediately obtain the To the Victor Go the Spoils trophy, after which you can then retrieve the stolen items, plus the dropped loot.

In case you accidentally kill the scavenger before it can take anything from you, or if it flees before you can kill it, you can wait for around seven days and the scavenger should respawn in the same area. You can also check other areas such as the Enoa’Battahl Forest at the northwest region of Battahl, or under the Great Bridge Passage northwest of Vernworth.
