Techland’s Tymon Smektala recently spoke with The Gamer in an interview about the new content that they are planning for the game. It will add a number of improvements to the game. He says that the aim is essentially to make players “s**t their pants” through the use of new mechanics, some visual tricks, and audio scares. The team wants horror to be the main focus of the upcoming update.
Smektala promises that the developers are going to pull out all the stops for this upcoming update so expect big improvements for the game. He did not reveal a finalized release date for the patch, but he did say that it will arrive sometime in early summer.
Dying Light 2 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
