Techland has assured fans that Dying Light 2 upcoming DLC will not be the content that they will expect it to be and they will be “surprised.”
In a recent interview with media outlet PCGamesN, Lead Designer Tymon Smektala revealed that the upcoming new DLC for Dying Light 2 will not be just a small addition. He assured everyone that it will take them to new environments and has its own new traversal challenges. He even said that fans should expect the unexpected when they drop this new content soon.
“This is something that we want to do with the post-launch support. We want to surprise people,” Smektala revealed. “We want to create an emotional anticipation for our players. ‘What will they drop next?’ The plan is to not make the content too formulaic. The idea is that every new one should surprise you, should feel fresh, should feel new, because we feel this is the way to engage players.”
Smektala also revealed that his team was checking out on posts that speculated on what Techland plans to release next and he stated that no one has guessed it correctly yet. Definitely fans will have to expect the unexpected.
Dying Light 2 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
