Microsoft is in for a big year this 2020. With the release of the Xbox Series X later in the year, E3 2020 will be a chance to win many consumers over to their side. And Phil Spencer has revealed a few of their plans to get people excited.
On Ferbruary 15th, the Xbox boss held a meeting with his staff to discuss the games they would showcase on E3. Spencer mentioned that there would be a “deep portfolio” of Xbox Games Studios titles set to appear in E3 but did not specify any. There is one game that has been confirmed for E3 2020, and that game is Halo Infinite. Halo Infinite is the launch title for the Xbox Series X so we can also expect that Microsoft might reveal some details about the next generation console.
Leading the planning team is Xbox’s marketing boss, Aaron Greenberg. Now while Greenberg hasn’t specified any plans or promised anything outright in E3 2020. What is interesting is that he teased Xbox partnering up with Taco Bell to promote their consoles.
If you’re interested in seeing what Microsoft has for us this E3 2020, stay tuned for the event coming this June. Unfortunately, Sony will not be participating in this years E3 for the second time in a row. As well as long time gaming personality, Geoff Keighley, for the first time in 20 plus years. But whether Microsoft can more than make up for their absence has yet to be seen.
