E3 2024 and 2025 Reportedly Cancelled in LA

It has been reportedly confirmed that E3 2024 and 2025 have been canceled in Los Angeles City.

E3 was supposed to return this year for its first in-person show in four years to introduce new games, share announcements, offer playable demos, and more just like in the good old days. However, the months before the fateful cancelation announcement, many game companies backed out and announced their own events or joined Summer Game Fest. This made the organizers announce the cancelation and now it seems future events will follow too.

According to the Lost Angeles City Tourism Board, E3 2024 and 2025 are also canceled. These announcements were noted in a meeting packet via ResetEra published on Wednesday. There were also other planned city conventions that got canceled too according to the meeting packet.

While this confirms E3 2024 and 2025 are not happening in LA, it does not necessarily mean that the events are not happening anymore. The post only mentioned they are not happening in LA. It could still happen but in another city perhaps.

ReedPop has not made any official announcement yet to confirm or deny these new allegations of the cancelation of these future events.
