FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that Elden Ring: Nightreign, the standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game set in the Elden Ring universe, will launch on May 30, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Nightreign plunges players into intense PvE combat where teamwork is paramount. Squads of three, or solo daredevils, will choose from eight unique Nightfarers, each boasting distinct abilities, to survive a grueling three-day-and-night cycle. Split-second decisions are key as players navigate a dynamic map featuring fluctuating biomes, weapons, and enemies. Success hinges on growing stronger, outrunning the encroaching circle of fire, and confronting terrifying bosses at the end of each day. The ultimate challenge awaits on the third day: if players survive the nights, they must face one of the Nightlords – brand new bosses designed specifically for Nightreign.
Cooperation is vital for overcoming these formidable foes. Nightfarers must combine their unique skills for an unparalleled Elden Ring experience. Defeat isn’t the end; unsuccessful runs reward players with relics to customize and upgrade their characters, allowing for personalized playstyles.
